Introduction

Wherever stan getz stepped out onto the stage and began to play, listener's first reaction was one of disbelief.
No matter how well prepared you were, you never expect the sound to be quite as beautiful as it was.
It's said that Heifetz produced the same effect in person.Duke Ellington's orchestra certainly did, and so did Frank Sinatra. in Gez's case, the magic worked regardless of where he was playing - in small jazz club or vast concert hall. It's was as though he carried his own acoustics around with him. Many, if not most, jazz saxophonist close their eyes when playing, but Gez start straight ahead. There was somthing quite unnerving about that piercing blue - eyes gaze.
